ABRCMS Steering Committee statement condemning anti-Asian American and Pacific Islander violence

The recent reports of killings of 8 people, 6 of whom were Asian women, in Atlanta, Georgia are despicable and utterly condemned. We are saddened by this tragedy and our hearts go out to the families who have suffered such terrible losses. The anti-Asian and Pacific Islander bias, racism, and violence being perpetrated nationally are intended to instill fear, and the ABRCMS Steering Committee fully rejects these acts and the hatred that fuels them. We stand in firm support and solidarity with our Asian American and Pacific Islander brothers and sisters.
