Volunteer for the ePoster Spring Symposium

Curate Programming as an Abstract Reviewer
Help curate the ABRCMS ePoster Spring Symposium programming by reviewing student abstract applications.
Requirements of ePoster Abstract Reviewers:
- Assigned approximately 15 abstracts.
- Accept or reject abstract into the conference. If reject, must select why rejected.
- Provide a comment on how the student can improve their abstract.
- Confirm the abstract has been assigned the appropriate scientific discipline or if more than one discipline can be associated with the abstract.
Time commitment: Approximately 8 hours March 27-31, 2025.
Provide Valuable Feedback as an ePoster Judge *biggest need*
Students will present their research to you live through an ePoster platform. You will interact with students, review their posters and give feedback for approximately six presentations using the provided rubric.
Requirements of ePoster Judge:
- Watch Judges Orientation Webinar.
- Review approximately 6 presentations based on provided rubric.
- Please note that students will be presenting their research to you live through an ePoster platform.
- Provide comments and feedback for all presentations.
Time commitment: Approximately 1 hour for judges orientation; 2 hours on April 30, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements for Volunteers:
- Must be a senior-level graduate student, postdoctoral scientist, research faculty member or research scientist.
- Must be an active researcher, who spends at least 25% of time engaging in research in one of the 12 ABRCMS disciplines.
- Complete the registration volunteer form by March 10, 2025.
Note that the volunteer form is incorporated into the Symposium Registration form.
