Success in STEM depends on strong foundational knowledge, immersive research engagement, effective mentorship, clear scientific communication skills, and sustained persistence. ABRCMS integrates all these elements through national research presentation opportunities, mentoring networks, career and workforce development programming, and direct exposure to graduate education and professional pathways. As a premiere international conference, ABRCMS is a sustained community of scientists, mentors and alumni, that serves as a pivotal transformative milestone for students and early-career scientists by helping them recognize their potential, refine their professional identity, and acquire necessary skills to thrive as future scientists.

Why We Need You Now

During this time of severe federal funding reductions—including significant losses in critical support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH)—ABRCMS faces an urgent funding gap for 2026 and beyond. Without immediate philanthropic investment, increased institutional engagement, and expanded corporate partnerships, the scale, impact, and national reach of ABRCMS will be significantly diminished. With you, we can continue the annual meeting, expand programming and make an impact for generations to come.

Presenting ABRCMS Day of Giving!

This fundraising day invites you to invest not in individuals alone, but in the entire ABRCMS community that sustains these efforts. A successful Day of Giving ensures that future scholars experience not only access—but change to meaningful enduring pathways into leadership roles across academia, industry, government, and research.

The Goal: $5 Million

Funds raised during the Inaugural Day of Giving for ABRCMS will:

Ensure that ABRCMS continues;
Support student travel awards, research presentation opportunities, and mentoring infrastructure;
Launch the new ABRCMS Alumni Initiative; and
Expand year-round professional development and networking opportunities
